What is Lacquering?

Lacquering is a sealer or varnish that give a thin layer of protection to the blade surface from splintering. This is to protect the blades from damages while removing the rubbers from the blades. This is particularly important if the blade with soft or fragile outer layers.

Advantages of lacquering:

• To seal the blade and to prevent splinter when removing rubbers
• Easy to remove the rubber from the blade
• Increase the speed to the ball.
